According to Music Africa Awake reporter:

Emmanuel Umolo also known as Emmo Taddor (Slave tears) was born on the 22nd October,  to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Umolo, in Cannen Irri South L.G of Delta State.
He is a native of Isoko from Sagbama L.G Bayelsa State Nigeria.

He started his musical career in 1990 as Reggae Artistes.
He recorded his first album in 1999 with Nelson Brown in the Dove Studio.

Emmanuel Umolo  relocated to Abuja with his friend Micky and formed the group called the Slave Tears. But the group later broke out and Emmanuel decided to go on solo but still retained the group name being the lead singer.

Emmanuel performed with the May Gret super stars band in Abuja.
He later recorded a single titled “Fear Jah” with tracks like

1. Days of Tribulation
2. Stop, Stop, Stop

He is an easy going person and love playing music at his leisure time.

Emmanuel Umolo is a member of the Performing Musician Employers Association of Nigeria FCT Chapter and a member of Music Africa Awake (MUAFA)
