DJ Jimmy Jatt, Funmi Iyanda and Bunmi Davies sign management deals

On Monday June 27, 2016, Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records signed a new management deal with a Lagos-based creative talent firm, The Temple Management Company (TMC) led by Idris Olorunnimbe.

Barely a month after the TMC and Mavin deal was signed, more talents and superstars including renowned disc jockey DJ Jimmy Jatt, award-winning visual artist and writer Victor Ehikhamenor, media personality Bunmi Davies, artist/jeweller Mode Aderinokun and broadcaster, Funmi Iyanda have all signed up with the management company.

The excited CEO of TMC, Idris Olorunnimbe says, ‘with the constant expansion of the entertainment industry and growth of sporting activities, our vision is to remain the leading African talent and event management outfit, representing the biggest talents in entertainment, sports, media, the arts and other relevant areas‘.

The agency is now set to give established brands like Now Muzik and upfront & Personal a run for their money.
This development suggests more NIGERIAN celebrities are increasingly comfortable with handing over the affairs of their career to competent minders. Many careers have been stagnated, or even destroyed by incompetent management.
But time will tell if TMC is a much needed SAVIOUR or just a flash in the pan.
