On their arrival HRH Eze Ikechwu Oliver Akpudo (Eze n’di Igbo n’ Kano) received them and their first stop was at the palace of Eze n’di Igbo n’ Kano, were prayers was conducted to thank the ancestors for jouney mercies, from there he took them to a hotel were they had their meeting regarding odimma n’di Igbo and the way forward, in the same meeting Eze n’di Igbo n’ Amuwo-Odofin addressed the business owners and n’di Igbo in Kano. And it was agreed in the same meeting that they will pay a courtesy visit to the Emir of Kano Aminu Ado Bayero after Eze n’di Igbo n’ Amuwo-Odofin made the proposal.
Eze n’di Igbo na Kano and Eze n’di Igbo n’ Amuwo-Odofin together with the Igbo business owners in Kano payed a courtesy visit to the Emir of Kano.
The Emir of Kano received them and asked for the meeting to be rescheduled till evening. Eze n’di Igbo n’ Kano, Eze n’di Igbo n’Amuwo-Odofin later visited Emir’s palace in the evening were they had a good meeting with the Emir of Kano Aminu Ado Bayero in company of Prince Emeka Ojukwu the founder of Music Africa Awake, in the meeting they discussed about the ware fare of the Igbos in Kano and making sure they work together to better Nigeria and her people. In the same meeting Eze n’di Igbo n’Amuwo-Odofin said, “the explosion that happened in Lagos affected me and my community but because this meeting has already been scheduled i said i must come” he also asked the Emir to remember the people of Abula-Ado in prayers. The Emir said he will always put them in prayers, Prince Emeka Ojukwu also emphasized in African culture. In the same meeting the Eze udo II n’ Amuwo-Odofin told the Emir that the Igbo kings and business owners in Lagos will pay him a courtesy visit and the Emir accepted but the date is not yet fixed and once is fixed we will bring it to the notice of the public..
